Overview | CRFR Associate Directors
Glasgow Caledonian University: The Institute for Society and Social Justice Research has a strong social mission, drawing on internationally recognised expertise in sociology, criminology, feminist economics, international development, politics, social policy, business and management, health, and inequalities. We share a commitment, with key staff from the Institute, to gender-based violence. We are both founding members of the Gender-based Violence Prevention Network, a group working to open up opportunities and improve collaborations between academics and practitioners in the field of gender-based violence. The interdisciplinary nature of the research undertaken by staff in the Institute is central to developing innovative methodologies and bringing broader perspectives to entrenched and emerging issues.
