About the course > Learning experience How is the course delivered? The online element of the course is based around regular scheduled discussions which are facilitated by the Listening to Children online tutor via the course blog. These discussions provide an opportunity for further engagement with the course topics beyond what is possible in the classroom sessions, and the chance to share ideas, experiences, stories and contacts with the other participants. You will also have access to a wide selection of background reading about research and consultation with children and young people, including the Listening to Children case studies which can be downloaded from the course website, and a printed reading pack (a collection of academic articles selected by the course team) which is distributed to all participants at the beginning of the course. Additional learning materials (top tips, recommended resources, glossary, quiz etc) on the course website provide further material for independent study and reflection.
