Wednesday 5 October 2016 • 12.30 to 1.30
CRFR meeting room, 23 Buccleuch Place, Edinburgh

The WeAll-project in Finland explores factors that support and also restrict the opportunities of different people and diverse groups in working life. In this seminar we will address how age, gender, class, ethnicity, sexuality and location impact on working life. The project combines academic research and societal engagement in new ways and develops and enhances dialogue between the multidisciplinary research group and stakeholders.

This seminar is presented by Marjut Jyrkinen, Associate Professor in gender equality in working life and gender studies, University of Helsinki and Linda McKie, Professor of Sociology and Head of School, Applied Social Sciences, Durham University and Associate Director CRFR.
