Researchers from University of Glasgow are holding a one-day symposium, Dialogues with Scotland’s History of Domestic Abuse, on Friday 20 June 2014.

It is hoped that the event will bring together a network of people researching and working in the field of ending domestic abuse. Confirmed speakers include Sandra White

MSP for Glasgow Kelvin and member of the Scottish Parliament Cross-Party-Group on Men’s Violence Against Women and Children, Nel Whiting, Learning and Development Co-ordinator at Scottish Women’s Aid, Dr Lesley Orr, Honorary Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, Ann Donaldson, Researcher and Writer on Violence Against Women, and Brian Dempsey, Lecturer in Law at the University of Dundee and Chair of AMIS (Abused Men in Scotland).
