| Description |
The event will provide a
great opportunity to learn about this innovative resource
and to discuss parenting and disability issues with About
Families partners and fellow stakeholders. You will hear
about the findings of the first About Families research
report relating to issues raised in helpline calls around
parenting teens, and consider the implications of such findings
for policy and service development to meet the needs of parents.
About Families works with key stakeholders to encourage
effective use of evidence and the involvement of service users
in the design and development of services.

· Engage with key stakeholders from parenting and disability
sectors
· Learn about key findings from the recent About Families
research
on issues around parenting teenagers
· Hear about forthcoming events such as the Parenting
Teenagers Forum which will explore implications of the
