| Description |
The Roundtable will begin on
the evening of 23 September 2009 with a conference dinner and
conclude on the afternoon of 25 September 2009.
The Roundtable is arranged around a series of discussion sessions
that will aim to build on and extend key colloquia from the
IASSID World Congress in 2008, offer opportunities to explore
some new issues, update and develop key papers and guidance
for SIRGAID.
The conference hotel and venue of the Roundtable and Conference
will be the MacDonald
Holyrood Hotel.
Set in Edinburgh's historic old town, the Macdonald Holyrood
Hotel combines the convenience of the city centre with the restfulness
of a quiet location. Facing the Crags and Arthur's Seat, this
Edinburgh hotel is close to key attractions like the Scottish
Parliament, Dynamic Earth and Holyrood Park, making the ideal
base for exploring the city.
Guest rooms are being held for overnight accommodation at this
hotel and reservation for rooms will be arranged through your
booking form.
2 nights accommodation, all meals, welcome reception and participants’
fee are included in the registration fee. |
| Poster Session |
There will be an opportunity for Roundtable participants to
present work or work in progress. This will be in the form
of dedicated poster sessions for everyone to submit to including
new researchers and students. |
| Call for abstracts |
Please
email abstract proposals to Laura
Marshall
The deadline for receipt of abstract proposals is Monday
9 March 2009.
Decision notices will be sent to submitters by 30th March 2009.
Abstracts of those presenting at the meeting will be posted
on the IASSID-SIRGAID website.
Abstracts for posters should contain the following
information, written in English and be submitted via the abstract
submission form
1. Title of poster (no more than 70 characters)
2. Name, affiliation and e-mail address of poster presenter
3. Name(s) and affiliation(s) of secondary author (s)
4. Abstract (no more than 500 words) |
