Masterclass Event |
CPHVA Research Advisory Group, in association with ICCHNR, are offering
a 24 hour master class for new researchers and doctoral research students undertaking research in areas relevant to community health. This will offer the
opportunity for each participant to present some of their work and to discuss
key research issues in a relatively small group – for example considering development of research questions, theory and methods, data analysis,
writing and dissemination, and grant writing.
The master class will be facilitated by Prof Sally Kendall, University of Hertfordshire and Prof Pauline Pearson,Northumbria University. It will take
place from lunchtime on 12th March 2013 to lunchtime on 13th March 2013
at St Leonard’s Hall, on the Pollock Halls site in the University of Edinburgh.
Costs will be £70 for CPHVA members, £85 for non members inclusive of all meals for 24 hours, facilitation and materials. You will need to cover your own accommodation and transport costs.
