This is a pilot to see how this method works and there will be help available. All delegates will be expected to log-in before the 24th October and try out the various ways of interacting with CRFR support staff. This is to make sure that the technology is working and to provide assistance to anyone who is unsure of how to take part. |

| Further information |
We view violence against women as gender-based violence. This analysis
recognises that one of the fundamental causes of violence against women
is the unequal power relations between men and women, which lead to discrimination. Gender based violence against women is violence directed against a woman because she is a woman or violence that affects women disproportionately.
We expect all participants in the seminar to work within this definition and participation will be monitored on this basis.

The network is facilitated by Zero Tolerance, the National Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Programme at the Health Directorate and the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships at the University of Edinburgh.
We would like to thank the Knowledge Exchange Office of The University
of Edinburgh and the Health Directorate, Scottish Government for their
financial support of this event.
