Through interactive exercises and using case illustrations practitioners will run through applying research evidence to reinforce a strengths-based framework in fostering resilience with vulnerable children and youth exposed to domestic violence (DA).

This free, half-day workshop will:

1) Propose a working definition of resilience for practice with children and youth exposed to domestic abuse

2) Summarize research literature findings related to resilience and children exposed to domestic abuse

3) Make suggestions for practice applications. Participants are encouraged to think about bringing forward practice examples.
