description |
This project aims
to ensure that the changing needs of parents and
disabled people are met by using evidence to help inform policy
and
service development.
The project, About families: gathering evidence, informing action,
is a collaboration between CRFR, Parenting
Across Scotland and Capability
Scotland. It will pull together information from helplines,
service-users views and available research to identify the issues
that concern parents and what we might do about them.
During the life of the project, 5 key topics will be addressed
as identified in discussion with partners and utilising helpline
and service data. Parenting is the main theme, but the project
will make a special effort to include families with disabilities.
