Project description This project aims to ensure that the changing needs of parents and
disabled people are met by using evidence to help inform policy and
service development.

The project, About families: gathering evidence, informing action, is a collaboration between CRFR, Parenting Across Scotland and Capability Scotland. It will pull together information from helplines, service-users views and available research to identify the issues that concern parents and what we might do about them.

During the life of the project, 5 key topics will be addressed as identified in discussion with partners and utilising helpline and service data. Parenting is the main theme, but the project will make a special effort to include families with disabilities.
