Professor Evan Stark, author of Coercive Control: how men entrap women in personal life, and Leverhulme Trust-funded visitor to CRFR is speaking at the annual conference of the Gender-Based Violence research network today.

This one day event is bringing together academics, practitioners and policymakers to consider the continuing importance of gender in our understanding of domestic abuse. Also being launched at the event is the CRFR briefing: Domestic Abuse and Gender Inequality: An overview of the current debate.
