Associate artist

Sejin Moon

Sejin is an Edinburgh based fine art photographer. She received a Masters of Fine Art Photography at Edinburgh College of Art in 2010 and is currently a candidate for a PhD in Fine Art at The University of Edinburgh. Her photography work takes a critical view of social and cultural issues. She has an interest in the sociological aspects regarding cultural issues, gender and identity struggle. Sejin’s photographs depict cultural identity, feminism and social displacement influenced by her lifetime journey as an immigrant and as a professional working woman. Sejin is currently working with us to create a photographic portrait project of families in Edinburgh. This will hopefully portray and re-define modern families viewed from her cultural perspective and a corresponding narrative.
